Dust & decay

DUST &  DECAY : BY Jonathan Maberry

Benny Imura  and Nix Riley can't forget the jet they saw fly over the zombie-infested mountains of the Rot and Ruin . Now after months of rigorous training with Tom , Benny's zombie- hunter brother- Benny . Nix , Lilah the lost girl and Chong are ready to leave their home forever and search for a better future . But from the start , everything  goes wrong. They are pursued by the living dead, wild animals and insane murderers , and are faces with the horrors of a rebuilt Gsmeland , where teenagers are forced to fight  for thier lives in the zombie pits. Worst of all ... could the evil Charlie Pink-Eye still be alive?

Book 2 : ROT & RUIN
Book 3:  FLESH & BONE
Book 4: FIRE & ASH

I'M  reading this book for august & september . I'm loving it so far . This book reminds me of the (Walking Dead) in a way of they are hunting and killing zombies. From page one it grabs you . It is hard to put it down . I'm like Nix and Benny .  Benny calls the zombies (zom) . Everyone who die's become's zombies. The people who are still normal lock them self in their rooms at night just incase they die in there sleep they can't get out and kill other people . Some of the town people think that radiation, Virus, Bioweapon , Toxic waste , solar flares cause people to turn in to zombies. Benny like Nix ..

I give this book 5out 5 * * * * *  I'm looking forward to the next book. It's a good zombie book.. If u like the walking dead you will enjoy this book.

My review on imagined love (by diamond drake)

imagined love (by:diamond drake )

I give this book 5 stars.
"Willa Caldwell jumps in and out of her volatile and sometimes violent marriage seemingly unaware of the affects her actions have on daughter Jade. Lonely and insecure, Jade often falls prey to those eager to take advantage of her desperate need for love and acceptance. And both she and Willa endure heartache at the hands of those who claim to love them most.
As a young adult Jade decides to leave her hometown of Gary, IN, as well as the pain of her past to start anew in sunny California. Sadly, things don’t go as hoped and she’s left wondering if she’ll ever experience real love or if it will always be . . . Imagined Love.

I loved this book  so much i went on to amazon.com and got a copy to go on my book shelf . so i could reread it again . i could related to willa because in high school i was in a abusive realtionship . its so sad how her daugther at a young age had to go throw all that .. i love how willa tells it like it is , and makes no excuses for her choices in life. Willa mother was so mean to her . She wanted willa to live like the 1950's where the wife's would stay home and take care of the kids and do what ever the husbands say. willa wanted better for her and jade. I thought that it was nice of cicely to help her out and take them in . but she was trying to put on a show for willla . .

So parts make you so mad. So parts make you cry . This book grabs you from page 1 till the end of the book, everyone from all walks of life can relate to this book. This is a good read.

BEAUTIFUL CREATURES BY : KAMI GARICA & MARGARET STOHL

Beautiful Creatures  By : Kami Garica  & Margaret Stohl

Lena duchannes is unlike anyone the small southern town of Gatlin has ever seen , and she struggling to conceal her power and a curse that has haunted her family for generations. But even within the overgrown gardens ,murky swamps , and crumbling graveyards of the forgotten south, a secret cannot stay hidden forever.
Ethan Wate ,who has been counting the months until he can escape from Gatlin ,is haunted by dreams of a beautiful girl he has never met. when Lena moves into the town's oldest and most infamous plantation, Ethan is inexplicably drawn to her and determined to uncover the connection between them. In  a town with no surprise ,one secert could change everything ,.

I still have to  read this book . I'm trying to collect all of the books .. I just need the last book to go then i will start to read it . Yes there will be a update to fall this blog of just the book one . I got the movie ( The Beautiful Creatures ) , I'm guilt I watch the movie before reading the first book .

Beautiful creatures ( the movie )

A strange recurring dreams haunts Ethan Wate in his sleep,  but he prefers anything to his waking life. trapped in a small , conservative southern town with his withdrawn father , Ethan  desperately  wants to escape . Then the beautiful Lena Duchannees  arrives at his school and mysterious events begin to occur .Lena has a secret :' she is a caster with powers beyond her control . Worse when she reaches her 16th birthday ,she will be claimed by either the light or the dark and there is no escaping her fate in this supernatural love story based on the best-selling book series.

My take on the movie :

I gave this  movie 4 1\2 stars out of 5 . I would have like for them to talk a little more about  Lena Duchannes powers. I hope to fill in the whole with the book. I know i should have read the book first . I did like the way the told the story behind the curse .  how lena and Ethan  had a connection before they knew it . that was so cool . we can only & wish for that kinda of love in real life. I also like how lena didn't not chose either light or dark .. that was a surprise to me ..  I didn't like how she made Ethan  forget her .l  understand why   she had to do it . and if i was in her shoes i would have done the same .

`HERE ARE THE NEXT BOOKS IN THE SERIES:

Beautiful  Darkness
Beautiful Chaos
Beautiful Redemption
